No mail from geeklog?

the registration e-mail and the mail from Mail Utility is not sended, while geeklog it says that it has been sended.

where they are the setting from smtp?
I have tried but without result.

The settings for your smtp server should be in your php.ini. Good luck!

php.ini? oh my God...

in php.ini I find the setting for Windows, and mysterious sendmail setting for unix.

I using Mac OS X, I do not have a smtp active on localhost. The smtp server is on another server on same network

taught like to a child... Razz Razz

On MacOS X, you need to get sendmail running (prior to 10.3, which uses postfix instead). Search Google for instructions how to do that ...

Suggestions: in the next versions of geeklog the possibility to
specify a smtp server, like phpbb?
For dummies like me.. Razz

Geeklog 1.3.9 will let you chose between using PHP's mail() function (that's what you have now), SMTP, or using sendmail directly. The code for that is already in CVS ...
