Hello,

Lately I've been getting a lot of adault sites on my referer section of my stats block. Sites like sexgine.com, agedwife.com etc.... Funny think is that I see them on other people's stats block too... (squatty's, for example)

Now, I've been on these sites (just to see HOW come people from there refer to my site and there is no mention of my site there)... What gives...?

Are they bots....? Is it a kind of scam they were able to pull through (somehow) to put a link to their sites on my geeklog site...?

Just wondering....

I was seeing links showing up my referer section. They were "fake blogs" that had hidden links or some stuff that led to porn sites so they could raise their google ratings. I don't know how it works, I banned them all. Here's a link that explains it and might be able to answer your question...
