Installation Problem

Alright I go to the install.php, all the paths are set up right. But it says register_globals or one of those is OFF, I go to my servers phpinfo() and it says its on. Then I get an error after that. Any help?

When the install scripts says that register_globals is off, then that is usually true (in other words: I have yet to see a case were it is wrong).
There's a script doing a phpinfo() in admin/install/info.php - try that one. If you get a different result from that script, then maybe you have a .htaccess file somewhere that sets register_globals to off for certain directories.
