I am looking to install Geeklog for my content and news site.

Where can I get a template customized? is it hard to do?

When you install Geeklog it comes with 7 themes. There are many others out there, too.

The best way to have the site customized to your likings wuld be to do it yourself. Turias gave 2 good links that will explain a little better how to theme.
I have found out it is easier to learn doing this by using an existing theme and modifying it. I started out not knowing what I was doing, but after a while came up with a completely differant color version of the theme at aeonserv.com. Once you get in there, do not give up, it'll become second nature
