I havent checked on here in a while, is Geeklog supported for Apache 2.0 yet? I know it used to be only supported with 1.3. Please let me know.

It's not Geeklog that needs to support Apache 2, it's PHP.

AFAIK, there is still no "official" support for Apache 2, even for PHP 4.3.4 (if someone has a statement of the PHP developers saying something else, please post it here - I couldn't find anything). I seem to remember something about some PHP extensions not being thread safe.

There are a few Geeklog sites running on Apache 2 just fine, so it seems to depend on the configuration. Using the most current versions of both PHP and Apache 2 under Linux (or some other Unix) and avoiding non-standard PHP extensions is probably your best bet.

bye, Dirk

Thanks, I didn't remember that. So it seems that even on Windows it's usually working fine.

I run the following with multiple GL 1.3.8-sr3's:

Apache/2.0.48 (Gentoo/Linux) mod_ssl/2.0.48 OpenSSL/0.9.6k PHP/4.3.3 Server . I also have PHP accelerator 1.3.3r2 and MySQL 4.0.14.
