Auto time in comments vs. Manual time in articles
The Timer
Anonymous
As I've mentioned in here, the comments sometimes seem to be better handled than the articles.
Another thing about them is time. I'm another happy user of the time hack, BUT...where I post comments, Geeklog doesn't ask anything, it doesn't bug me, no...it just does its work and post the comments with the right (local) time, which is the percise moment I hit "post".
If only the articles would be like that...but instead, they are really not user friendly because I have to:
1) Start calculate my local time.
And even if I DIDN'T have to use the time hack =>
2) Update it the second before I hit "post" so it'll be live.
The comments solve both 1) and 2) in the most user friendly way possible - not involving me...
Since the comments do so, you can't say such a thing is impossible or hard to implement...because it's alrealy there under the articles' nose!
So what do you think?
Thanks
