I have spent hours trying to figure this out and now I am calling uncle.

I want to change the taxt size, color, or style of the "Contributed by:***" link. For example the work 'vinny' and 'wooge' at the top of the stories of this web site. I could change the rest of the line except the link to the contributor. Mine is appearing bold and big and black, while the rest of the line is gray, therefore very unecessarily eye catching.

I have looked at every line in the style.css carefully and changed them to test out and nothing worked.

I am dealing with Clean theme, but it will be relevent to some other themes also.

What I did:
I created a new class "contributed" (or whatever) around the line in storytext.thtml and featuredstorytext.thtml and killed the hard coded font settings (who does things like that???)
Then I went o my stylesheet and created some new entries:
Text Formatted Code

span.contributed { font and colour of the text }
span.contributed A { font and colour of the links nested in the contributed line }

Razz

I did as you suggested. Interestingly it does not change the size of the contributor's name. But, it does change the color to my satisfaction. I can bear with the font size since it's color is no longer intrusive.

Thanks!
