Registration non email of password

I registered on someone GL site recently (in the past month) that instead of sending me my password, it displayed it. I then just copied and pasted the password and logged in. However I can't for the life of me remember what site that was or why I was there. I need that solution so If anyone knows how it was done I appreciate it.

Maybe just adding it so that GL does both.

I have searched GL for it and haven't found it.

This is not quite what I was talking about. This will allow the user to create their own password. What I am looking for is instead of emailing the password, displaying it.
