Manual Digest and 1.3.8-1sr2

I cannot send any digests. There is a stramge behaviour:
under IE after send I get the error page not found
under Mozilla Firebird after sendnothing happens Question
Digets are not sent.
The last sent date is not updated.

One more thing I can mail users from the site so mail is enabled.

Could incorrect email corrupt functioning of manual digest?
I mean if user entered his email in CAPS.
MD sends the digest one by one. Is it possible that if suddenly there is something like JOHN@JOHN.COM the process fails.
