Static Page Positions

Static pages can be placed on the index page, at the top, bottom, after the featured article or take up the whole page. This feature works great but I like to have a static page be the third or fourth story on the index page. I would like it to stay there and then have regular stories flow around the static page as they get older. So that the static page is always the third or fourth story. Did I explain that right? Is there any way to do this? Thanks.

You would need to hack index.php. There's a for loop near the end of the file that displays the stories. You could add a counter there and call PLG_showCenterblock when your counter hits 3 or 4.

Of course, PLG_showCenterblock would be called for all plugins supporting the center blocks, so you may need to configure them accordingly.

bye, Dirk
