Cacheing geeklog pages

Hi,
I have been talking to my website provider recently and found out that my geeklog site is using a large amount of his MySql ressources. He told me that there might be a possibility to set up a chache in order to reduce the hits on the db. Since my page is not changing too often, this might be a good idea. does anyone of you use something like this or knows where to start searching for something like that?
thanks
Oliver
