I've got a couple of pages created, using static pages for the info that is not to change, and a story (actually an nnouncement) at the top. Although I have specfied that it display the left column only, it stubbornly displays the left, center, and right columns. Any idea why?

I am using a modified Blue Moo theme (it is now green) . I have installed the latest Static pages plugin (although it still shows the original version number).

Thanks again!

When static pages are displayed as center blocks (between the stories) then the left/right blocks setting is ignored (unless the static page is supposed to take over the entire page). I guess that should be documented somewhere ... Oops!

bye, Dirk

Hmmm. Well, would it be possible to post the info in the static page as a regular story, but have it be "sticky" so it stays in the same position (preferably as second rather than first)? Or, is there a patch that could be simply done in one of the PHP files that would allow the left/right block setting to be NOT ignored? I'm not interested (nor are you, likely Wink ) in major surgery.
