I think I saw something over at squatty.com that displays RSS feeds on their own page (not using static pages, it's an add-on).

I use this one -> RSSFeedMagic wrapped into geeklog using the external pages plugin. It needs just little modification and is quite easy to handle
one of my feed pages

I made a little hack you can see what I did
here Basically you make a news block and then use the rdf/rss parser that is provided with geeklog to parse the file onto the static page.
I mainly did this so I could use as much geeklog code as possible. You can see an example of mine here
Thanks,
Warren

Thanks all,
I will see your suggestions... when my geeklog site will be up again! Unfortunately I set up a small bandwidth and reached the limit.
Now I increased it but waiting for change to take effect.
Does the myheadline addon make also what I am searching?

well... yes it shows news,
no not in a central block (it stretches across center and right blocks) and you can't modify the layout without paying an extra fee and it's a bit hard to maintain and organize. If you just want to show some news on you page, it is somewhat oversized.
(e.g. it creates a databas with all the feeds you get)

p.s. I tried that before I switched to my solution, without knowing the 'Blaine Way'
