I am running GeekLog under Apache on Win2k and I am deploying to a Solaris 8.0 O/S under IPlanet Webserver. The installation went well under both environments..all path information has been verified and is correct. The problem is that under IPlanet/Solaris accessing the following URL: http://linrtx.sandbox.com:8074/forum/index.php returns a "page cannot be displayed error". The IPlanet logs show that the request was successful. There are not any errors showing up in the geeklog error log nor is PHP processor showing any errors.

I have stripped the Index.php page down and slowly rebuilt it to try and determine the point at which it appears to choke. If I comment the following line at around 655 the page will appear. Uncommenting produces the "page cannot be displayed error".

$topiclist_line->set_file (array ('topiclist_line'=>'topiclist_line.thtml'));

The error has to be in the translation/processing of the file because if i apply general COM_errorLog statements..nothing shows up in geeklog's error file.

This works fine under Apache / Win2k.

Does anyone have any ideas / suggestions.

Is there a syntax error in topiclist_line.thtml? Make sure that all variables (things inside curly braces) are closed.
