Problem with date

1) I have written in the config.php:

$_CONF['language'] = 'italian';
$_CONF['locale'] = 'it_IT';

but in the home page, in header and in the box "events" and "older stories", the dates are in English.

2) It is possible in the calendar to have the hours from 1 to 24, instead of AM/PM?

It's possible that your hosting service does not support the Italian locale. Try the little script I posted in this thread (replacing 'es_ES' with 'it_IT').

Hi Dirk, tnx.
I have tried the script but this is the result

"Today is Sunday
An error occured when switching the locale."

I have changed also ALL in TIME, but the error is not changed.
The OS is Mac OS X 10.2.8

In the same computer I have also phphbb, than it write the dates in Italian. Can be a useful?

That's the problem then. MacOS X only started supporting locales with 10.3.
