Hello has anyone tried to incorporate popup windows triggered by links within a story. On normal web pages I was using this java script but it doesnt work within geeklog stories.

Any ideas or work arounds?

eg CODE
----------------

<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
function openPictureWindow_Fever(imageType,imageName,imageWidth,imageHeight,alt,posLeft,posTop) { // v4.01
newWindow = window.open("","newWindow","width="+imageWidth+",height="+imageHeight+",scrollbars=no,left="+posLeft+",top="+posTop);
newWindow.document.open();
newWindow.document.write('<html><title>'+alt+'</title><body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" onBlur="self.close()">'Wink;
if (imageType == "swf&quotWink{
newWindow.document.write('<object classid="clsidBig Grin27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=5,0,0,0" width="'+imageWidth+'" height="'+imageHeight+'">'Wink;
newWindow.document.write('<param name=movie value="'+imageName+'"><param name=quality value=high>'Wink;
newWindow.document.write('<embed src="'+imageName+'" quality=high pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="'+imageWidth+'" height="'+imageHeight+'">'Wink;
newWindow.document.write('</embed></object>'Wink; }else{
newWindow.document.write('<img src="'+imageName+'" width='+imageWidth+' height='+imageHeight+' alt="'+alt+'">'Wink; }
newWindow.document.write('</body></html>'Wink;
newWindow.document.close();
newWindow.focus();
}
//-->
</script>
</head>

<p><a href="#" onClick="openPictureWindow_Fever('jpg','/pathtoyour.jpgfile','590','467','name','100','25'Wink">PICTURE</a>
/
<p>  </p>
</body>
</html>

did you add the necessary tags and attributes to admin_html in config.php? For example, you'll need to add the 'script' tag and the 'onClick' attribute.
