Well my other post didn't seem to get any helpful replys just "are registered global on" which yes ive checked 3 times and their on.. I cant login to my page from index.php or users.php or anypage but when i go right to moderation.php from my browser it says this is restricted please login so when i login there it lets me in for the second i see the control panel and it says Welcome Admin but they it refreshes fast and kicks me out.. anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Make sure you have cookies enabled on your browser. For Windows/IE this may mean adding your Geeklog site to the list of "trusted sites". For Mozilla there is a cookies configuration item in the prefereneces.
I hate to reiterate, but check to make sure register_globals is turned on by checking your phpinfo(); (geeklog comes with such a script in {site_url}/admin/install/info.php. The reason you're getting this so often is because the behavior you describe is usually (as in almost always) associated with register_globals being off. You can't always trust your php.ini because some systems come with two versions installed, only one of which is used.
Another thing to try is to post the URL to your web site here. Taking a look at what happens when "we" (the greater geeklog horde) try to register or click various links will give us a better idea of what is going on (from an environment that we control).

It's not causing your problems, but you have an extra slash (none needed) at the end of you $_CONF['site_url'].
It appears that your web server isn't accepting POST variables. I don't understand why this would be the case. Does anyone else have any ideas?
