Geeklog Forums

Hi all,

I'm testing out the Forum plugin, really nice. However, I created one board that I only wanted a special group of the site to use. No problem there, only this groups can view/post etc. in this board.

BUT if a non member of this group, or anonymous, looks at the statistics of the site she can see the topics in this board...although she can't access it she still can see the title and that's bad.

Has anybody noticed this? Maybe found a solution!

I'm using Forum 2.2 and Geeklog 1.3.8

just take that section out of the .thtml for the part of the site.

Are you seeing the topics listed Under "Forum Top Viewed" or "Forum Top Replied" topics in the Site Stats page?

It looks like I have the security checks in the stats API code for Top Replied but not Top Viewed.

See if you can confirm this is the behaviour. I will add that to my 2.3 release changes to look at.

Sorry for my late respons...I'm seeing this in "Forum Top Viewed".

I'll just take this section out of the .thtml page for now.
