HTML in profile sigs.

Is there a way to allow HTML in profile signatures? I would like my members to be able to attach an image in their signatures.

I found this line in usersettings.php, would this be the line I need to edit?
$A['sig'] = strip_tags (COM_stripslashes ($A['sig']));

Just commented out the above line and it now will keep the tags I specify in the signature field but when I save the settings my img src link goes from looking like this...

Bah...anyway GeekLog is putting back slashes at the beginning and end of the image url.
