The Mommy Link.com
I started this site a little over a month ago, but quickly realized I needed a CMS to do what I really wanted. I've tried all the typical ones including php-nuke, post-nuke, xoops, mambo, you name it....Geeklog has definitely been the best choice for me.
The klear-blue template didn't have the Geeklog tag at the bottom, so I put a credits page on there so I could add links to the other open source products I use too.
Thanks,
Rachael

Yeah, my users like the choice of having a theaded view instead of just the flat. I had actually started with PHPBB2, but quickly got complaints because it didn't have that feature. FUDForum was the only one I could find that would allow that. I've had it up and running for several weeks now and it seems to be a good board.
I realize that most people feel the threaded view is antiquated, but most of my users are ivillage refugees (including me) who left their site in protest last year when they changed their basic format from the threaded to the flat. So, since that's my audience, that's what I need to accomodate.
It kinda sucks having 2 user databases, but oh well. Maybe someday I'll figure out how to integrate them.
Thanks!
Rachael

I didn't feel like registering, but here's a link you might think about adding. Great group blog about raising kids:
Raising Hell
I love your design, and the color scheme you have chosen. It's very clean and elegant. Good job!

Thanks for the comments! I appreciate it.
I added the link to Raising Hell. Pretty funny (and true) stuff on there. Thanks for the suggestion!

Wow...I have gotten a ton of traffic from this thread, so I thought I'd post an update since I've changed several things since I first posted... (man, do I love that stats plugin!)
I AM now using the forum plugin. I just decided that the benefits of having everything integrated outweighed the negatives of upsetting a few members - that aren't even active, btw.
I am also now using a modified version of the clean theme. The forums looked a little squished with the klear_blue theme.
Thanks,
Rachael
