Hello all,
I would like to put an avi in the story section. You would read the story, then hit the read more, and the video would stream. What would I edit in the config.php to allow this, and what are the security problems with this, if any. In addition, what would the HTML command look like?
I have been playing with this..
SRC="../blah/blah.avi"
HEIGHT=144 WIDTH=118
>
Thanks in advance.

If I understand you right, embedding the movie in a static page would do what you want, and allow you to use the geeklog security.

Thanks!
What are the secuity risks with putting it in a story, if I only allow the embed code to be used by admins?
Is this a problem?
Thanks again.

I'm a little confused (well, more than a little) by the syntax when adding a command to the allowed html.
Can someone show me specifically what I'd need to add to the allowed html section so I can embed audio and video files?
Editted to add: Specifically WMV and WMA files.
Thanks!

Assuming you know which attributes you need, does this FAQ entry leave any questions open?
That's an honest question, btw. An FAQ that nobody understands is useless.
bye, Dirk
