Calendar Hack

I just had someone modify the calendar for me. He changed the fields to fill my needs. I sometimes have 40 or 50 events on a day, so the default view is day view. I also had the times removed I never fill them out and it looked awfull. Take a look.

I'm just curious, did you pay a programmer to make the changes for you, or did you find some one to volunteeer their time?
I think the day and the week view look really good. The month view is pretty ugly but it's still useable. If other people had needs like yours for a lot of events in a single day, it would be neat to see a feature in the month view that would just display the number of events on that day and allow you to click into day view to see them all.
Also I don't really see the need for the narrow left column next to the event listings that has the week number at the top, when the date is already displayed in the top row.
