Well, that isn't a terribly lot fo information to go off. Posting the SQL error might be helpful....
Off the top of my head I would say that the problem is that you are trying to put a quote mark in a box that is not being processed properly. This could be a possible bug in Geeklog (Developers? Any comment?)
To test if this is the problem, try putting a backslash in front of the quote mark (apostraphe) as follows:

Uh...I had some trouble with that when using an old version of the forum plugin, and managed to escape the apostrophe the old fashioned way--by doubling it, like this:
As a database developer, I have found it best to write a SQLQuote() method and make sure any varchar2 fields (I work mostly on Oracle) have the values run through that before updating or inserting.
