Is there a form processor plugin avilable? I would like to have a simple form that when submitted will get emailed to the admin account for review. Thanks.

I just created a form using nms-mail (a more secure version of Matt Wright's FormMail.pl) as my Contact Me page, and created a static page for it.

See it in operation here:

My GeekLog Site

Is this what you're after?

NMS Mail can be found here:

Thanks for your reply. I've been trying FormMail and everything seems to have gone well, but I am not getting any emails from the form when sent. I'm still looking around but wanted to know if you've ever run into this, thanks.

Well, it was the obvious, Sendmail. I'll get this working, thanks.

You can use the GL code to do this.

E.g. the Contact link leads to the page http://yoursite.com/profiles.php?uid=2

Use this page directly. Or copy the code from it into a static page or block.

JF, thanks a lot. Even though I've been using GL for a while now, I never saw or used the contact link. Thanks again.

Is there any way to remove the page title in the email form page?
Thanks for the advice by the way - it works brilliantly!...

Hello I have a contact_us link in the footer and the link is {site_url}/profiles.php?uid=2. The email id in the config.php in $_CONF['site_mail'] is the same as the email id of the admin with uid=2. When the user sends the email the everything seems to work fine also with the message that submission confirmation. but I am not receiving any email.

Please helppppppppppp

Thanks,
Ruchir

Well, do the usual email trouble shooting ... Can you send, say, articles by email? Do people get their passwords when they sign up? Any spam filters involved?

Also try using other methods to send email, see Configuring email (Geeklog 1.3.9 and newer versions)

bye, Dirk
