Well heres what I want...
each user to have access right only to a topic the admin (me) allows them to have. Since I have groups right now that have access to post articles but they can post articles in any topic.
ex. to set story.edit for only a certain topic which that member is a part of, and have the user blocked from being able to automatically submit a story in without the admin approval in other topics.

Now, I know GL doesn't support access rights per topic... but I posted to find out
1. if anyone has a hack on how to do this?
2. or approx when GL will support this?
3. Or even if someone can lead me to the right files to edit and I'll take it from there, and make the changes myself.

That's what I'm looking for as well! Only pMachine (no open source, lousy support) and Knews (too simple, just news-script) can do that I believe.

But I love GL and would prefer to assign access to a subtopic: a user should only be able to post an article in the assigned subtopic.

Should that be possible using the Menu plug-in?
