It looks to me like you need to go over the documentation a little more and try your installation again.
The paths you show that include
are not supposed to literally read that way, but rather, you are supposed to replace that with the actual path to the geeklog directory (I think that's the one where config.php resides) for your system.
For instance on mine, it looks something like this:
where:
xxx=the name of the server I'm hosted on
yyy=my username
My advice is to take it slowly and carefully. I did my GL install with the documentation page open in another browser window, which helped a lot!
