cannot login one one computer w. opera

Hi,

I am having a problem on geeklog.net with one specific browser on one specific computer:

the browser behaves as if someone forgot to switch register_globals=on. If I enter my login data, I get logged in (I see myself in the who's online), but I still see the login-field, my selected theme wont show and I do not get a logged-in confirmation message, just the normal guest-style homepage. I tried to delete all cookies & cache, but no help there.

It's in opera, 7.5 p3. On another computer, I have exactly the same setup, and it works fine... someone has an idea? I set the preferences to always check documents etc for new versions.

Make sure the browser accepts cookies from geeklog.net.

Since you already deleted the cookies once, you should find cookies for the site after your next login attempt.

Also check for local proxies or firewalls which may filter out the cookies.

aparently it was a cookie problem

thanks for pointing me to this. I again manually removed the cookie and re-opened the page, now it works.
