I have a Counter Strike site for Clan. And I made this website for them, and my fellow clan members want to be able to post topics with out having me send them the html file. Is there a way with php/mysql that they can log in to the site in an admin log in section and post topics that would appear on the site. Thanks

You do know that Geeklog has a story submission queue, don't you? So your clan members could submit the story on the site and you, as the Admin, would only have to approve them before they appear on the site. You can also disable the submission queue, so that submitted stories appear on the site without moderation.

Using Geeklog's permission system offers you two more options:

  1. Assign them to the StoryAdmin group. This means that they get access to the extended story editor, but also that they can edit other people's posts.
  2. Grant them only the "story.submit" permission. In that case, they only get the normal story editor, but their posts will appear on the site without moderation, while any other story submissions still require moderation.

bye, Dirk
