I am getting ready to create a test install of GL 1.3.9 and have a very basic question. I want to copy my existing prod db 1.3.8rc2 and use 1.3.9 to upgrade the copy. How do I copy the production db so that I am testing on the copy, not the original? Can I just use config.php to point the new test install to one of the backup dbs I created using 1.3.8rc2?

The geeklog site will use what ever database the site config.php has defined.
