gl_var missing after db upgrade
ran 1.3.9 install script to upgrade test db created using 1.3.8rc2 backup => mysql via command line restore.
Ran into a couple of problems:
install script reported "gl_var does not exist". error.log reporting same.
going to URL ... index.php results in
Template Error: set_root: /usr/home/ibic/gl139/usr/www/users/ibic/webtest/gl139_public_html/layout/Yahoo is not a directory.
Halted.
Ideas?

Are you sure it said "gl_var"? The name of the table in question is "gl_vars". Does that table exist?
Your other problem is just the standard path problem, as explained in the installation instructions.
bye, Dirk

I think I had performed an incomplete restore. I started over and it looks fine now.
