Left block resizing?

Hi,
I've been busting my nut on this one; after customizing my site, my left blocks are now resizing themselves against my will. I haven't been able to find where to specify a fixed size (as is standard in the installation).
Any help is most welcome.
You can see what I mean:

I tried that... but no. It only seems to resize on some pages, not others. Could it be in the header? Any other ideas?
But thanks,

I guess it's because of your banner (in the left column, at least on the front page).
You can only really set a minimal width reliably. For a max. width, you would have to rely on the CSS max-width property, which isn't widely supported (especially not by a certain much-used Windows browser ...).
bye, Dirk
