Another SQL error.1064; and the mystery of the lost tables.

Hi
I tries to upgrade to latest version, but after installation I get this:
- 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 1. SQL in question: SELECT DISTINCT ft_name FROM gl_access,gl_features WHERE ft_id = acc_ft_id AND acc_grp_id IN ()
Bye the way: I moved from one server to another (copied), all the tables where lost (and text/pictures for 3 years). Only the datebases was left. And of course no back-up. The provider of the server moved the site.
Je regret...

Another thing: I upgraded the database first, got only 30 tables.
Second I made another database, and under installation of Geeklog took a new database and got 40 tables. Why? Could it be because the database had no old tables (lost in the change in server)?
