Geeklog Forums

I'm trying to get my boards to display more than 5 topics per page and even though I've set it to 10 it's still only displaying 5.

Any help please would be appreciated.

$_CONF['limitnews'] is the default setting for new and anonymous users. Everbody else can set the number of stories per page in their preferences.

Thanks Dirk but actually I was asking about the Forums plug-in.

I did however check that setting, as you suggested and it is set to 10 for my stories.

I need to be able to display more than 5 topics at a time on my forums.

I can't help noticing the absence of the word "Forum" from your original post ...

Anyway, the Forum has similar settings - once in the Admin section and again individually for each user.

Those are indepentend of Geeklog's settings for stories per page, of course.

That's because your user settings are overriding them.

Hi Dirk, actually I'm having this issue too. I've gone in as admin and there's 5 posts per page. I'm on 1.4.1 by the way. I've changed the settings in the forum settings menu to show 20 posts per page, and I went into my user preferences and changed that to 20 posts per page. It still only shows 5 posts per page. I must be missing something here. Also, can I make the default higher than 5 for users without going into each user and changing it?
