Images in comments without using tag

Anonymous
Hi, I need to permit in the comments to enter a defined set of images (like smiles) in an easy form as k:, :bad: or something like this.
Later in html it will be expanded in <img src=....>.
Before starting to modify the source I'd like to know if there is a built-in way to achieve this result.
Thanks in advance
Paolo

If its only smilies you want to enable, then why not purchase glmessenger from Portalparts.com and use the smilie administration feature! its as simple as adding the following line of code to your lib-common.php file at about line 2806! Note this is for Geeklog 1.39 as it changed the way comments were handled!
You can also intregate smilies into other aspects of Geeklog just as easily using this plugin!
