I saw the posting that tells one how to change left & right block template styles, but what about the other blocks (if that is what they can be called), like the story editor, story preview, command and control. These all use the blockheader.html and blockfooter.thtml for their background. Is there a way to separate the design of these as you can the regular defined blocks?

You can't override the block templates for those block.
