I can't get the registration process to work. No mail is sent to those who register as members.

What changes do i have to do?

Can't use smtp or sendmail...

Do you get any error messages (in error.log or when you try to send an email)? Can you email stories?

yeah... i get that safe thing... but i have read the faq and will talk to the admin on the server where my account is at about using smtp.

one more question...

if everything seemes to work on my site, but no email is recieved when someone have registered. Could that be because the port number isnt used on the server?

Or is there any other reasons for that?

Err, no, this issue doesn't have anything to do with ports ...
