Themes backwards compatible?

Don't know if this one has been posted yet, but I wanted to know if I can install version 1.3.8 themes into Geeklog version 1.3.9.
I would just try it and see what happens, but with my luck, I would destroy everything! Thanks in advance.

You won't destroy anything by installing an incompatible theme. If you want a theme that states it is for 1.3.7, it might work, but you should also be prepared that some features will not work.
I know that the 1.3.9 themes do have a few extra files within them. Refer to the documentation for the theme change details.

They will need some adjustments, as listed in the theme documentation.
Btw, "backward compatbile" would be the other way around - using a 1.3.9 theme in 1.3.8.
