I have a flash file that I want to use for my header. It has a 30 second intro in it. I only want it to play when someone first enters the site.

I also have a second identicle flash file with out the 30 sec intro.which I want to use when the user is clicking through the site.

Is there a way for me to load the intro header file just once when the person first enters the site.. and then have it load the normal header without the intro?

If you use flash MX or higher you can set a "local shared objects" (which is basically a cookie), at the end of the animation and if that "cookie" is present then don't play the animation. Here is a link to a tutorial on macromedia.com. Good luck.
Yes I am mental.
