limitnews setting in config.php now working with Axonz3.4 Red?

I set up the "limitnews" voice to 4 value in config.php but I always see all the stories in the homepage www.tampano.com

I'm using AxonzRed 3.4 and disabled the theme choice for users.

How can I fix this thing? I'd like to limit the stories number on the homepage.

Btw...is there a way to make the stories disappear after some days from the homepage and stay only in the section where they belong?

Your first question:
The reason is: your user prefs are overriding the system prefs. New users and anonymous users should see 4 stories a page.

Your second:
An archiving feature has been discussed, but it has not yet been fully implemented.
