Custom Header Information

I have just recently switched over to GeekLog on my website from OpenPHPNuke. I like the GeekLog interface much better, but there is one thing I have yet to understand. I want to make a custom header.thtml file (well, I want to add one option to it) but am not succeeding in doing so. I would appreciate any help that someone could give to me. I want to add a static link to another portion of the website (videodb).

Ok, sorry for my lack of doing better research. I have found the answer in one of the previous posts. It was so simple, that is was hard.
