Flash animation in header not working on admin and forum pages
Hi,
I'm working on a theme for my site that has a small Flash file in the corner of the header. The animation works just fine on most of the pages, but it doesn't work on the Geeklog admin pages, or on the forum pages - there's a blank spot where the Flash goes, and the status bar at the bottom of IE says it's loading the page, but it never finishes loading.
Everything else on these pages works fine.
The header contains a Javascript to detect Flash, and if the user doesn't have it, the script shows a static JPG.
I'm using GL 1.3.9
Thanks!

Did you use a relative link to embed the flash movie? Try changing it to http://yoursite.com/yourflashmovie.swf.
Yes I am mental.

oh yeah I wasn't thinking you can just use "{site_url}/yourflashmovie.swf" that would be better then using the full address.

You and Blaine (over at his PortalParts forum) pegged it for me. I dumped the SWF file in the ADMIN and FORUM folders, and now it's working.
Not the most elegant solution, but this will allow me to play with the paths to the SWF file so I can get them in just the IMAGES folder.
Thanks!
