Geeklog Forums

I have 1.3.8 set up working excellent.

I want to upgrade it to 1.3.9 and also I want to upgrade the forum to the newest one.

What are the best steps to do that?
I have users on my site, groups, many forums..etc.

Please advise.

1) Backup your database.
2) Upgrade Geeklog to 1.3.9 (read the included documentation for best ways to do this)
3) When 2 is working, upgrade the forum plugin.

Where is the documentation on how to upgrade?

I ended up using phpmyadmin and just did inserts of all data from my previous database. it seems to work

although I noticed that the table gl_forum_setting is different in the most recent forum version that in the previous one.

It's included in the 1.3.9 tarball.
