Upgraded Forum and now smilies are gone

I upgraded the forum to the new 2.3 and the smilies are gone. only the code for the smily shows, but no actual smily.

What should I do?

Check your forum settings - maybe you are disabling HTML.

That didnt help. The text is all together, spaces are gone, etc..
