I have geeklog 1.3.9 installed. When new user want to register he gets this error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: isvalidinetaddress() in /home/roughlif/public_html/mu2/public_html/lib-common.php on line 3161
The same error when a registered user wants to change his account information.
This problem never occured with older version. Problem with PEAR?

Found the solution. Have to use the pear package that came with 1.3.9

In config.php,
$_CONF['have_pear'] = false;
