Hi all! I read the current SQL error thread, but I'm getting a slightly different one. I'm installing on a remote host, via FTP.

I get this error while running the install.php script:
An SQL error has occured. Please see error.log for details.

The error log says:
Wed May 12 17:05:34 2004 - 1146: Table 'idesigne_geeklog.gl_sessions' doesn't exist. SQL in question: DELETE FROM gl_sessions WHERE remote_ip = '209.193.5.65' AND uid = 1

I'm guessing it's not being able to create the tables? I checked the permissions, created a new user with a new password, etc. So not sure what to check next. any ideas?

Thanks for that. Do I only need to create THAT specific table?

Thanks in advance.

You should have 40 tables in your database.

Instead of adding any missing tables manually, it may be easier to just drop the database, create a new one, and run the installation script again.

bye, Dirk

Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem because I'm getting the same error. I've tried deleting the database, using different database names, using different user names, all to no avail.

Can you be more specific?

Did you create the database first? Did you run the install script? Did you get any errors during the install?

bye, Dirk

Oops, I think I got up too early this morning. I've been messing with it for an hour but just now realized I was just going to my geeklog site root and not to the install script.

Sorry for the trouble.
