each time I try uploading image, an error occurs saying I haven't used the image (which I have)..

This is the actual message:

>The following errors occured while trying to save your >story. Please correct these errors before saving
>image #1, 20040513155209843_1.jpg, was not used. >You must include this image in the intro or body before >you can save your changes

Use the image

you need to include the following into the text:
[image1] or [image1_left] or [image1_right]
that's all.

I use the specially formatted text every time, but I get the message.

BTW it works fine on my localhost, and on my web it always produces an error.

Doesn't anyone have an idea how to solve this? I've been trying for some days now, and running out of ideas: can it be the browser? I'm using IE 5.5, but it works fine on my local geeklog instalation.. How about hosting provider (using anyxhost - don't really think that provider could be the problem..).
I really do use specially formatted text correctly and, as I said, works fine om my local GL.

As geKow already pointed out, when you select an image, you have to use it in the story text somewhere ([image1] for the first image, etc.).

The only other thing I could think of is if you're using a language file other than the English one. Some of the translators also translated the word "image" into their native language, so that you have to use that word in the square brackets.
