hello. i am new to content management systems. i have been designing sites for a long time, but not i have been commissioned to build a site for a church. the design is mostly done, but now i want an easy way for one of the staff at the church to be able to update content without having to use a FrontPage or Dreamweaver. I thought GeekLog may be a good backdoor program for this, but I am not sure. Could anyone please, please help guide me through the process on what I need to do? the sample site is up at http://www.drivethroughrain.com/napc/ Please help! I may be asking a lot of questions so be ready.

Geeklog is a great CMS for any site, especially for people with who are not very computerminded because it's so easy and foolproof to submit an article and upload and places images. I think it's difficult to 'skin' Geeklog to look exactly like your (beautiful) site.
Now you have 3 stories in the middle next to each other, with Geeklog they will get above each other, or you have to put them HTML coded in a featured article or static page.
Announcements will go to the left or right blocks.
You can keep using the DHTML menu (with static links to the dynamic pages) and the images right below as well I think.
You can try demo's of CMS systems at www.opensourcecms.com.
Good luck, and please forgive my bad english (and greetz from the Netherlands)
Dutch Geeklog sites about camping/hiking:
www.kampeerzaken.nl | www.campersite.nl | www.caravans.nl | www.caravans.net
