GeekLog ignores all html tags in stories

I can't figure out why GeekLook 1.3.9 ignores all html tags in stories. It prints the tags as part of the content.
I've installed the latest version of GL and looked through the config.php file.
The edit page shows the list of valid HTML tags in red, but they are ignored.
Is there a global setting in GeekLog I missed, or is there a PHP setting that might affect this?
I'm running on RedHat Linux Enterprise Edtion 2, I think.
It must be something in my settings since I haven't been able to find anything about this in the forum or documentation.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
- Roz

Erm, you are posting in HTML mode, aren't you? The little dropdown menu just below the text area?
bye, Dirk

Hello Dirk,
Thanks for the quick reply.
OK, I misunderstool how allowed tags worked. I assumed that the allowed tags were valid in the plain text mode also, not just in HTML mode.
What I was trying to do is have a link to a page in a story. Does this mean that it's only possible to have links in HTML mode, not Text mode?
Thanks,
- Roz
