Ok, i have experience in JAVA, C++ and verious other languages. I'm having a problem editing simple HTML. go figure. In the header file, there are (what seams to be) reference calls to functions called button_contribute, button_* ect.

where do these point to? i'de like to do a bit of editing, but i can't find the file that they grab the text "get published" from (example taken from the button_contribute).

any help would be great.

also, this is the first time i have ever messed around with a program like geeklog. What exactly is a static page used for. Lets say i have some pages i'de like display within the main center blocks. How do i go about doing that? Not as in Links and stuff, but i mean is that what a static page is used for?
