I created an SMS system for my site at teamates.screentoons.com. It is still in it's testing phases and there are limitations.

The concept is to be able to provide a free SMS service for users that promotes the name of Screentoons as a tradeoff for the service. The costs for the administrater is in pennies and a worthy advertising method.

At the moment replying to the SMS does not go to the individual sender as of yet and so is not exactly private. I am working on a system that will give each subscriber a unique id# so when the reply goes to the server it will know where to direct it. This is not as easy as it sounds by the way.

Will keep you posted on the latest developments as it evolves. How many would find such a system useful?
